Key ingredients benefits :
  • Vitamin A (CelluCap TMR): Promotes cell growth minimising wrinkles, scars and fine lines. This formula contains 0.1% active retinol, which is renowned for its anti-aging properties, making it a vital ingredient of the best serum for nighttime renewal.
  • Vitamin B3 (niacinamide): Hydrates and promotes elasticity, decreasing redness and hyperpigmentation. This powerhouse ingredient also improves skin texture and tone, making it an essential part of any night repair serum for achieving a smoother, more even complexion.
  • Vitamin B5 (panthenol): Hydrates and conditions skin to assist in repair. It helps to soothe irritated skin and promotes a healthy skin barrier, contributing to the overall effectiveness of night renewal serums.
  • Hyaluronic Acid: Intensely hydrates skin for a plumping effect. This ingredient is crucial for achieving a plump, youthful appearance and is a staple in the best night serum formulations aimed at deep hydration and skin renewal.
How to use the Repairing Night Serum

For optimal results, use the Repairing Night Serum as the final step in your evening skincare routine. Start with a clean, toned face. Apply a small amount of the serum to your fingertips, then gently pat it onto your face and neck, avoiding the eye area.

Allow the serum to fully absorb before applying your moisturiser. If you are new to retinol, begin with two to three applications per week, gradually increasing the frequency as your skin builds tolerance. This approach helps your skin adjust and maximises the benefits of the night repair serum.

Tips for first-time retinol users

Introducing retinol into your skincare routine can be transformative, but it’s important to proceed with care. Begin by using the night repair serum twice a week, gradually increasing usage as your skin adapts. Initial mild redness or dryness is common, so patience is key.

Always apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen during the day, as retinol can increase sun sensitivity. Keeping your skin well-hydrated is crucial; use a gentle, hydrating moisturiser to support your skin barrier and enhance the effects of the revitalisation process.

Is it safe for sensitive skin?

If you have sensitive skin, you might think that serums aren’t for you – but you’d be wrong. There are plenty of serums with ingredients that benefit sensitive and reactive skin types.

As dryness and sensitivity are often linked, hyaluronic acid can be beneficial. Soothing, barrier-boosting B vitamins including niacinamide (B3) and panthenol (B5) also increases comfort and promotes stronger, more resilient skin.

What does retinol do for your face?

Retinoids reduce fine lines and wrinkles by increasing the production of collagen. They also stimulate the production of new blood vessels in the skin, which improves skin color. Additional benefits include fading age spots and softening rough patches of skin.

Can you use retinol on your face everyday?

Retinoids work best if you use them daily. Specifically, they should be used at night because some types are deactivated by light and air. It’s important to start slowly and allow your skin time to adjust. Using too much too quickly can cause redness, dryness, and irritation.

What does niacinamide do for your face?

Also known as vitamin B3 and nicotinamide, niacinamide is a water-soluble vitamin that works with the natural substances in your skin to help visibly minimise enlarged pores, tighten lax pores, improve uneven skin tone, soften fine lines and wrinkles, diminish dullness, and strengthen a weakened surface.

Can you use retinol and hyaluronic acid together?

What Are the Benefits of Combining the Two? Good news: Retinol and hyaluronic acid actually have a synergistic effect. They can be combined so that the benefits of retinol can be achieved more easily with concomitant use of hyaluronic acid, which helps to prevent retinol irritation.
